Where Does LST rent Surfboards in Danang?
LST Surf shop is located Near the An Thuong tourist area in Danang, Vietnam.
We are just 100 meters from My Khe beach and Holiday beach where most surfing in Danang is done. It is also the perfect place to have your lesson!
With beginner waves, relaxed ocean currents, and lifeguards on duty, My Khe beach is typically safe for most levels of surfer. When conditions are too rough we will let you know.
Pick your board up at the shop, then a short walk from the shop will have you on beautiful My Khe beach where you simply need to pick the peak you want to surf then paddle out.

How Long Can I Rent a Surfboard For, and How Much Does it Cost?
We have many different types of boards for rent and their price varies. Short term and long term rentals and everything in between are available. check out the price chart below.

Does LST Have Long Term Surfboard Rentals?
At LST surf we do offer long term surfboard rentals. Typically we ask for the surfboards to be picked up and dropped off each day to minimize the risk of damage storing boards in hotels and so we can keep an eye on the boards to make sure they stay in good shape. We can make exceptions for this which will raise the price of rental a bit. All long term rentals require a Deposit which will be returned when the board is returned to us.
If you rent Long term you are welcome to swap out boards so that you always have the right board for the conditions of the day.

At LST surf we have a large selection of surfboards to choose from. From short to long, hard to soft, and everything in between. We have quite a few of our own hand shaped custom boards available to try out as well as many boards from well-known shapers worldwide.
When is LST Surf Shop Open to Rent Surfboards?
The rentals, lessons, and services portion of LST Surf Shop is open daily from 8am to 5pm. You can stop by anytime during these hours to rent a surfboard or you can send us a message and arrange a time. If you want to pick up a board before business hours to go for an early surf you are welcome to come in and arrange with us the day before or contact us to arrange your board for dawn patrol.
What is Included With Your Surfboard Rental From LST Surf?
When you rent a surfboard from LST you are provided with a shower and a place to change as well as lockers to store your belongings and LST zinc sunscreen to protect your face from the Vietnam sun.
In addition to renting surfboards we also rent wetsuits, rash guards, and motorbike surf racks to make transporting your board near or far simple and easy.
What Should You Bring When You Rent a Surfboard From LST Surf?

- whatever you need for a day on the beach
The main beach in danang is over 30 Km long. There are waves up and down the whole stretch. The whole beach being sand bottom and void of rocks and reefs makes it safe for all levels of surfer. the most popular surf spot is ‘My Khe Beach‘ located 100 meters from LST Surf Shop.
All you need to do is walk to the beach and look for a good peak to go surfing.

When is it Safe to Rent a Surfboard and Go Surfing in Danang?
Depending on your ability level you can surf every day during surf season in Danang, Vietnam. when the waves are small and the weather is nice the conditions are suitable for all levels.
When it is big and stormy only advanced surfers should go out. We will ask you to assess your level and advise you whether or not it is safe to go surfing.
We will let you know what the conditions are like for the day and advise you to check the waves before going to surf. and you can always check the wave forecast here.
*We reserve the right, pending surf conditions and safety, to refuse rental of surfboards to keep you and everyone safe.
What Happens if I Break a Rental Surfboard?
Surfboards break, it happens. Fiberglass and foam is a fragile combination designed to be an optimization between weight, performance and strength.
If you break/damage your rental surfboard you are responsible for covering the cost of repairs. Fortunately, these repairs are done in house, so the cost is cheap.
Iyou can also purchase optional insurance if you are worried about having to cover the cost of damages.
*Purchasing insurance does not mean that you can treat the boards irresponsibly. Thank you for taking good care of our things.
